Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Do I need pool heat?  We highly recommend pool heat for the winter months (November – March).  It is optional for the summer months (June – August), but we do suggest it if you would prefer the spa to be hot.
  1. How does the spa work?  The spa control is located on the brick wall under the covered portion of the lanai.  It is a timer dial that turns on both the bubbles and the heat (if the heat has been paid for).
  1. How much does pool heat cost?  Pool/spa heat is $30USD per day.  If you would like pool heat included in your quote, please indicate that in the comments when you contact us for booking.
  1. What if I want to grill?  We offer BBQ grill rental through a 3rd party service.  The grill is dropped off at the beginning of your stay with a full tank of propane and picked up at the end of your stay.  This is invoiced separately from your villa rental, and prices are currently running about $60USD per week.
  1. How many cars am I allowed to have?  You are allowed up to 3 vehicles parked by the house.  You may gladly travel with more vehicles, but we ask that you park extra vehicles in a carpool lot and share rides into the resort, as the resort has limited parking.
  1. Why is it note-worthy that the pool is South-facing?  A South-facing pool provides the pool area with the maximum amount of gorgeous Florida sunshine year-round.  If you are looking for warmth and sunshine, a South-facing pool is the place to get it!  Note: The dining area on the pool deck is shaded, so there is a place to catch a break from the sunshine if needed, too!
  1. What is the minimum stay?  We require a 5-night minimum stay.
  1. What is your cancellation policy?  All paid prepayments are non-refundable.  However, in the case of extenuating circumstances such as border closures, we can offer you a voucher toward a future stay with us.
  1. Do you allow pets?  Sorry, we do not allow pets of any kind.
  1. My dates aren’t available. Can I get onto a cancellation list?  Due to the pandemic, vacation cancellations are more common.  If your dates are taken, please feel free to send us an email, and we will keep you on a cancellation list and notify you if your dates become available.
